All about Coffee…

“Start your day with Coffee and Smile :)”

Coffee is an important part of our breakfast, although it is also very important about the type of coffee someone would prefer according to their taste. It is not much as on taste, smell but also on the intensity of Caffeine content of the coffee. Some people also prefer the type of coffee depending on their Native land. There are things like sugar content, milk and cream content, types of beans, people also prefer customized coffee by adding spices and alcohol to their coffee as well. So here is the list of some preferred coffee types which are easily available around the world.

Cafe Latte

“That’s what I do, I drink Coffee and I know things.”

A fairly popular option for coffee lovers. Latte is creamy and sweet in taste with a single shot of coffee. It is made authentically in the Italian way , with espresso soaked ladyfingers layered with a light and airy Mascarpone cream, blended perfectly with a vanilla ice cream or frosting, and dusted with cocoa powder to finish.

Cappuccino

“Beige is atmosphere.
It’s bisque, it’s ivory, it’s cream,
it’s stone, it’s toast,
it’s cappuccino.
it’s well, it’s magic.”

Cappuccino is a double espresso with a thick layer of foamy steamed milk. It was originated in Italy. The reason why drinking Cappuccino is pleasurable is because of it’s lovely, silky foam and how it swirls together with the steamed milk and espresso in your mouth.

Espresso

“Don’t ever think you had it bad..
Somewhere in the world,
Someone just ran out of Coffee.”

Espressos are the purest coffee experience you can get, and while they’re not for everyone , it can be a truly singular drinking experience when you find a good brew. It’s really difficult to make a perfect shot of espresso, although the procedure is quite simple, but you need to achieve the exact bitterness of coffee. You need to add freshly ground coffee beans in the hot water but in perfect ratio to master the taste and consistency.

Caffe Americano

“The Americano – Straight to the Point
Likes to keep things Simple
Quite, but Moody
All about Minimalism.

Americano was made by American soldiers during the Second World War, in need of the beverage that would last longer. You can make this by simply adding hot water to a shot of espresso coffee.

Long Black

“For me Black is not dark,
It’s poetic.
I don’t think of Gothic, I think of Classic.
it’s a big difference.”

Long Blacks can be quite strong as from their name you can understand. Their process of making is just opposite as that of Americano, two shots of espresso are added into hot steaming water. They are little more creamier then an Americano.

Mochaccino

“You Mocha me so Happy”

A wickedly extravagant combination of intense Espresso, freshly steamed milk and rich chocolate syrup, with a topping of sweet chocolate powder and optional whipped cream.
Often referred to as ‘Dessert in a cup’.

Caffe Frappe

“I wouldn’t say I am a Coffee addict. I prefer the term, Exceptionally Caffeine Absorbent”

The all time favourite caffe frappe. Rich, creamy and irresistibly cold coffee, that will never go out of style. With lots of chocolate syrup on top and paired with chocolate fantasy, this is a perfect chocolate delight for you, a whole package.

Turkish Coffee

“A coffee should be Black as Hell,
Strong as Death and
Sweet as Love”

It is mainly enjoyed throughout the Middle East, it is made in a cezve, a typical long-handled pot made from copper or brass. Very finely ground coffee is needed to make it.
Traditionally a brass grinder is used, in order to obtain a powder as fine as caster sugar. Many enjoy their Turkish Coffee flavoured with spices like cardamom and cinnamon. Simply as finely ground spices to taste. It is originally brewed with water, but it can be brewed with milk also according to the taste.

Irish Coffee

“I put some whisky in my coffee
because it’s Ireland somewhere.”

Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essentials food groups: Alcohol, Caffeine, Sugar and Fat. This classic cocktail is made of hot coffee, Irish whiskey, and sugar(sometimes brown sugar) topped with thick cream. The Original Irish coffee was invented by the head chef in Foynes, Joe Sheridan.

Macchiato

“I’ll have a
Triple Sparkle Macchiato with
Extra Glitter.
Happiness is…espresso Macchiato
with perfect
foam of milk.”

Macchiato is a shot of espresso topped with foamed milk dashed directly into the cup. There is no steamed milk added to it.

Vienna

“The best coffee in Europe is Vienna Coffee, compared to which all other Coffee is fluid poverty.”

Vienna is considered as strong coffee as it contains two shots of straight espresso added in hot water and then whipped cream on top is added as a substitute for milk and sugar sometimes.

Flat white

“I don’t need an inspirational quote , I just need coffee.”

A Flat White is a coffee beverage from Australia and New Zealand in the 1980’s. It is made from mixing the flat, thick and creamier milk poured over a shot of espresso.

…And the list goes on to some 30-40 types of coffee. No matter whatever the type, if it keeps you going in the morning it’s worth it.

Start with Coffee…

“Like Everyone else who makes the mistake of getting older, I begin each day with Coffee and Obituaries.”

“Motivation gets you started but Coffee keeps you going”

I started writing this blog with a with a cup of coffee on my table, ’cause that’s how we work. From the lands of Africa to the whole world now, coffee is everywhere. People start their day with it…and for some it is not a good start if coffee is not involved in it.

Call it a habit or addiction, but it’s the fuel which keeps the human mind going.

On a constant Drinking Spree. Cheers!!

“In wine there is Wisdom, in beer there is Freedom, in water there is bacteria. Don’t drink water.”

–Benjamin Franklin

I drink to save water…I know it’s a messed up reason but it’s believable. We drink to celebrate Life, we drink at a Wake in remembrance of someone…we drink to go through the day and sometimes through cold nights, and when there is no particular reason to drink then we drink enough to make something happen, something stupid usually.

This blog is created by a person, who if not a software developer would be a bartender or a chef or an epicure for that reason, but wait I am still an Epicure. I like to bring some poetic meaning to your drink, making you believe that your drink is not just a drink, but a sonnet of your feelings where everything rhymes with the second line, or the second sip. This blog is about how your hormones mix up with your emotions and create a new art of Mixology and dance on the chords of your drink. Even if you haven’t had the drink which I mentioned here, I am sure you would still relate with the quotation, and if you have had that drink than please feel free to be nostalgic about your past memories.

Along with the poetic sense, you will also find the taste, flavor and the alcohol content if any of the particular drink. Some basic history and all that critic stuff about the drink. You will also get to know how tipsy you will get after drinking a particular drink.

That’s all this blog is about, it’s that simple!!.

Thank you for checking it out and Keep Reading.
